Sandustry Planter Box Designs
A Planter Box design should deliver Seed and Water separately, combine them into Wet Seed, and give each Wet Seed reliable contact with the box. Flower destruction produces Gold and drifting Amethelis, so collect the heavy Gold below while guiding the wisp-like Amethelis toward its energy-processing route.

Prepare Wet Seed before planting
The Kinetic Press supplies Seed from Burnt Residue. One Seed becomes one Wet Seed when it contacts one Water pixel, so a controlled wetting pocket prevents unused Water from flooding the growing area and makes the arrival rate easier to diagnose.
Grow and harvest Flower
Wet Seed grows into Flower when it contacts the Planter Box. Burning or destroying a mature Flower releases Gold and Amethelis. The box allows both outputs to pass through, which supports a collection chamber directly below instead of a wide transfer line.
Separate Gold from Amethelis
Gold is exceptionally dense and should fall toward a Collector, while Amethelis is a low-density wisp that drifts as it descends. Give the latter a broad capture path leading toward a Steam Dryer, and keep both outputs away from the Wet Seed feed.

Troubleshooting
- Seed reaches the box but no Flower grows
Verify that the Seed contacted Water and became Wet Seed before it reached the Planter Box.
- Amethelis escapes the collection path
Widen or enclose the capture area because Amethelis is a drifting wisp rather than a normally falling solid.
